Document update in Aadhaar free of cost till 14 September 2023

As per the notification of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), New Delhi, every Aadhaar number holder who has completed Aadhaar enrollment and updation on completion of 10 years from the date of enrollment for Aadhaar and Proof of Specified Identity (POI) and Proof of Address (POI) You have to update your supporting documents in Aadhaar at least once by submitting POA) so that the secure information of their Aadhaar can be ensured continuously.
Accordingly, to provide this facility to Aadhaar holders in this regard, Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has developed a new facility of “Update Documents”. Citizens can access this facility through myAadhaar Portal (https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in Document update can be done free of cost till 14 September 2023 by accessing online through . This new feature allows Aadhaar holders to update their Personal Proof of Identity (POI) and Proof of Address (POA) documents in their Aadhaar. Additionally, residents can visit an Aadhaar Seva Kendra Can also update the document, whose fee will be Rs 50.
