Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme

Under the National Social Assistance Program (NSAP) by the Government of India, Rural Development Ministry, Rural Development Department, the Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme is being operated with the objective of providing financial support to the widow of the living below the poverty line. The scheme is being implemented and operated by the Government, Social Justice and Disabled People Welfare Department.

Beneficiary:

1.Applicant’s age should be between 40 to 79 years. 2.Applicant should belongs to Below Poverty Line

Benefits:

The widow woman beneficiary gets Rs. Pension at the rate of 600 is being provided under the head of center.

How To Apply

Applications in the prescribed application form in the rural area of their native place- Gram Panchayat / Janpad Panchayat, in the urban area, in the office of Municipal Corporation / Municipality / Nagar Panchayat, three photographs, certificates for confirmation of age, Samagra ID and BP. L. Submit with the card. Or apply online through the nearest Public Service Center.
